New Hope Christian Academy
Opening Letter
Great effort is expended in the running of this school, great sacrifice from staff and parents.  We are
here not as a business; not for money; not for fame; we are here because God has given us a mission.
I am thankful that our mission is becoming increasingly clear as we go along.  We are called to partner
with parents in training our precious children to know and serve our risen Lord.  Our primary purpose
is to teach every child to know, love, and serve Jesus.  This is the key to successful life and living.  On
the way to this great goal we will strive to provide an education that is second to none.
As we focus on our mission our numbers may be
few, but our accomplishment will be great.  We
know that many will not understand or share our
mission, but for those who do NHCA will be a
sanctuary.  We are guided by two very important
principles:
1. The law of sowing and reaping.  In other words,
what you put in is what you get out.  What is invested
in each child will show in the child’s life.
2. The principle of division.  Jesus said that “a house
divided against itself cannot stand.”  If NHCA
students live in houses where Jesus is not in first
place, the child’s “house” will be divided. (One thing
taught at home, and another at school = a divided
house.)
These are both spiritual truths that are germane to the
purpose of NHCA.
The threshold is high.  To minimize division and confusion we
encourage NHCA parents to actively support and participate in
a local fellowship.  Applications will be accepted when
accompanied by a letter from the local church confirming
church commitment.  For those desiring enrollment at NHCA
who attend another fellowship, please use the reference form.
Together we will train up our children to love and serve our
Lord.  These will be the ones who will reach the next generation
for Jesus.  These little ones are next year’s leaders!
Therefore, to fulfill our mission, we must be very stringent about our admittance and enrollment
requirements.  Divided, we fall; united, we stand.  Shared values bring peace and strength, while opposing
values bring turmoil and confusion.  NHCA will therefore commit to families who share our purpose and
values.  This commitment is to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
Parents of NHCA students must show commitment to Christ through commitment to His church.  We are
looking for this commitment in word and deed.
New Hope Christian Academy’s goal is to provide the best education possible for your child, both
spiritually and mentally.  We are determined to provide a safe environment for your child.  We at NHCA
understand the grave responsibility that God has given us in this pursuit of Godly education, and it’s only
through His might that it will be accomplished.  We would consider it an honor and privilege to be entrusted
with your child’s education.  We recognize our part as Christian educators is one of partnership with you as
parents.

May God bless you richly,
@New Hope Fellowship
